There will be a change in Nepton's release cycle from October 1st.
In the future, smaller fixes and updates will be released all at once on Thursdays at 1:00 to 1.30 PM, instead of being published on varied days throughout the week from 1:00 to 1:30 PM.The change especially improves predictability and communication.
Predictability: The change improves predictability and enables more planned work. In the future, you will be able to know exactly when the update will come and it is possible to prepare for it in your own work. This improves the overall user experience of Nepton.
Communication: Followers of the support service's release notes page will receive information about releses no later than Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. At least 24 hours advance notice about the content of the release gives time to prepare for changes.
The change does not affect emergencies or crises. In these situations, we continue to act quickly and flexibly to solve problems, and releases are made as before.
Please note that the change does not immediately affect integration runs. Integration runs will still be paused on weekdays from 13:00 to 13:30. We will make a change in product development for this break as soon as possible, and we will communicate about it separately through release notes.
