Depending on your company policy, either supervisor or employee records sick leave to employees calendar. Check with your Nepton administrator your company policy.
Sick leave is recorded as follows.
Work time -> Work hours -> Events in Calendar.
Choose an employee's calendar view by searching the person.
Choose the wanted date and add a new event to the calendar.
Enter event type as Sick leave. Enter a start and end time.
To the Additional info field you can enter what type of sick leave is this about. The default additional info are Sick, Child sick, Accident at work, Accident while commuting and Accident in free time.
To the Medical certificate field you can enter the status of medical certificate: Not known, Not received, Received, Permission from supervisor. Medical certificate - field is available for only those roles that has been set up with the permissions to see or edit this field. Usually these roles are for payroll and administrative personnel.
To the Reason code field you can enter for example doctor's given reason code or other code used in your company. Reason code - field is available for only those roles that has been set up with the permissions to see or edit this field. Usually these roles are for payroll and administrative personnel.
Compensation field is used to define the compensation of the absence.
Earns vacation days is chosen as a default.
If sick leave absence hours are wanted to assign to a project, it can be entered while creating an event. You can also add free text as notes to the sick leave absence.
When all information is added, save the event.
