The role gives you permission to see and edit personal and employment information, plan shifts, as well to edit and view units, locations, ....
Role rights
The rights that the role has are described below by function. Some of the rights in the roles can be:

The roles and the Person group can only be set in the roles "Administrator", "Human Resources", "Payroll". Without restriction, the Unit manager could grant access to data from other units by setting the role of working time to "Administrators" or adding persons to groups of persons in other units.
Rights settings :
By default the rights to view and edit persons information for a Unit Manager or Supervisor are restricted. You can allow those rights in: Employees -> Administration -> Settings -> General
This right determines whether the the "Supervisor" role can view and edit the HR information of the persons marked under his or her authority. Primary and secondary subordinates are treated in similar manner when data is viewed or edited. If the right is not turned on, the supervisor will only see the brief basic information of his subordinates and cannot open the persons information.
Note! If the subordinate has other role that is bigger than of supervisor
- The supervisor will be limited to view only the basic information of this person
- and he/she will not be allow to edit this person information.
Allow Unit manager to view and edit person information in his/her unit:
This right determines whether a Unit Manager can view and edit information about persons in his or her unit. If this right is not turned on, the persons in the unit will not be visible.
Note! If the person in the unit has other role than Employee or Supervisor :
- The unit manager will be limited to view only the basic information of this person
- and he/she will not be allow to edit this person information.
Allow Unit manager to add persons into his/her unit
Determines the right whether a person in the role of "Unit manager" can add new people to their own unit.
