There are three different reports for tracking annual holidays;
Annual leave usage by month (former name "Annual leave, rolling month analysis")
Annual leave usage by season (former name "Annual leave, usage follow-up") and
Annual leave earning by month (former name "Annual leave, earned days")
All reports can be filtered by persons, and the reports can be exported to Excel. It is recommended that the annual leave reports are always taken for the period of the vacation year (April - March of the following year).
Annual leave earning by month
The Earning by month report allows you to monitor a person's earned annual leave. It is recommended that reports always be taken for the period of the leave accrual year (April - March of the following year). The report shows earned days on a monthly basis up to the time of reporting, according to the settings configured in the service.
Once the time period and the persons have been selected, click "show report". The report below is taken from a person whose employment relationship began in August 2023. According to the settings, she has accumulated annual leave days 2 days/month from August to March 2024. It has been agreed that she will be given two additional leave days, which have been added manually for September 2023. This is shown in the report under September with the text "Annual leave earnings change". The Total column shows the leave days earned during the entire holiday period, i.e. 18 days. Therefore, the person has 18 leave days to use in the holiday year 2024-2025.
According to the settings, the person will start accruing annual leave of 2.5 days/month starting in April 2024. In September 2024, the annual leave earnings report for the year 2024-2025 will look like this:
Annual leave usage by season
The leave usage report shows both earned days and their planned usage. Select the period for which you want to view the vacation entitlement. The report shows your accumulated vacation entitlement at the beginning of the period.
The "Balance at the end of..." column shows the person's accumulated annual leave entitlement for the selected holiday period.
The "Planned annual leave days" column shows the annual leaves added to the person's calendar for that year, that reduce vacation entitlement. The figure takes into account annual leaves already used and those requested for future months.
The "Unused annual leave days" column shows the amount of annual leave the person has unplanned, i.e. still available, for the selected holiday year.

Rullaava kuukausierittely -raportti esittää henkilön käytettävissä olevat lomapäivät, milloin ne on suunniteltu käytettävän, ja kuinka paljon suunnitellun käytön jälkeen on vielä jäljellä käytettäviä vuosilomapäiviä. Raportti suositellaan otettavaksi aina lomavuosi kerrallaan. Alla olevassa esimerkissä on otettu raportti esimerkkihenkilöltä, joka oli ansainnut 18 lomapäivää lomavuonna 2023-2024. Päivät ovat siis käytettävissä lomavuonna 2024-2025, jolta tämä raportti on otettu. Raportista nähdään, että näistä 18:sta päivästä on tällä hetkellä suunniteltu pidettävän 12 päivää kahden viikon jaksossa kesäkuussa 2024 sekä neljä päivää elokuussa 2024. Tällöin henkilöllä on vielä 2 päivää pidettävänä myöhemmin lomavuonna.
The leave usage by month report shows the person's available vacation days, when they are planned to be used, and how many annual leave days are still available to be used after planned use. It is recommended to always take the report one holiday year at a time. The example below is taken from an example person who had earned 18 leave days in the holiday year 2023-2024. The days are therefore available in the holiday year 2024-2025, from which this report is taken. The report shows that of these 18 days, 12 days are currently planned to be taken in a two-week period in June 2024 and four days in August 2024. In this case, the person still has 2 days to take later in the holiday year.
Approved leave days are shown in dark gray and unapproved leave days in light gray text. Days marked red are not counted as leave days and do not reduce annual leave accrual.
