The role of a Person in Nepton gives them the rights/permissions to see and do things in the Worktime section.
There is a role to view and edit personal and employment information, as well as shift planning. More on this topic in roles.

In service point of view, main user has Administrator Employee role and All rights of Worktime roles.
In general, employees have narrower rights than supervisors. Administrators have the most extensive rights. Working time roles can be added or modified from existing ones. A person can belong to more than one working time role at the same time.
The working time roles below can be found on the service by default. The service may have other working time roles established in your environment instead of or in addition to the ones below.
By default...
"Kaikki oikeudet" grant rights to basic, intermediate and high level rights.
"Omien sekä alaisten tietojen muokkausoikeus" gives the right to edit the person's own and subordinate's data. This work time role usually has all the basic rights, most of the middle rights, and at least some of the higher rights.
"Omien tietojen katseluoikeus, alaisten muokkausoikeus" gives you the rights to your own basic information. This role of working time can have very limited rights, meaning that individuals can only report hours using the Current Status or Posting Terminal and commenting on the calendar. Or they may have most of the basic rights and some of the middle rights.

A list of different rights to service functions is presented in the rights for working time roles. Existing permissions can be changed by selecting the desired permissions from the list and clicking Save. Working time roles can also be increased and given the most appropriate rights.

Note: which options are visible to the user is configured in the WorkTime settings under Work hours > Accruals and overtime hours. To target Hour to hour time to an accrual like Balance, the accrual must be enabled and the corresponding "Visible overtime options" must also be enabled. |
