Usually, the settings for earning annual leave are defined in the Working community settings and employees earn annual leave days automatically according to these settings. The amount of annual leave days earned from previous holiday years or before deployment are set according to this instruction. The instruction in question is used, for example, when annual leave calculation is deployed in the middle of the year and the accumulated annual leave days from previous holiday years are to be taken into account in the service.
If you want to add a person's accumulated annual leave days from the previous holiday year (which they can use during the current holiday year), the change must be made for the last month of the previous holiday year, i.e. 31.3.
- Select 31.3. in the person's calendar. Add Event.
- Select the event type Annual leave earning change
- Enter the desired number of annual leave days to the Change amount, half a day is entered as 12 hours
- It is possible to write an explanation for the change in the Notes field
- Save the change
After this, the added number of annual leave days can be seen, for example, in the report Annual leave, usage follow-up. In the report, the annual leave days added by changing the annual leave balance are now included in the total number of earned annual leave days on April 1st and are available for the employee's use in the current holiday year.
