Issues with Microsoft Login
Date range Tue 04.08.2026 20:15 - ongoing
Affected services Microsoft login
- 24.08. at 13:30 - We have deployed an additional fix for the Microsoft Login issue over the weekend and are actively monitoring its impact. In some cases, login attempts may still fail due to security policies configured in the customer's Microsoft environment. We continue corrective measures in collaboration with our customers.
- 21.08. at 16:00 - We will perform an additional maintenance release tomorrow at 19:15 to address a login issue affecting some customers using Microsoft authentication.
- 19.08. at 15:00 - We have released a fix that resolved the issue involving the loss of Microsoft Login cookies. However, some customers are still experiencing login disruptions; these appear to stem from environment- and customer-specific factors related to Microsoft Login. We are investigating the remaining issues and continuing corrective measures in collaboration with our customers.
- 13.08. at 13:50 - The root cause of the issue has been found. We are preparing a fix and will communicate the release schedule in the Release notes as soon as possible.
- 07.08. at 13:00 - The root cause has not yet been confirmed. Current evidence suggests a combination of Microsoft security changes, mobile browser cookie restrictions, and organization-level security configurations rather than an issue isolated to Nepton. We are continuing to investigate and will provide a fix once the exact cause is identified.
- 04.08. at 20:15 - Some customers are still experiencing issues with Microsoft Login. We are currently investigating the issue.

Maintenance windows
The service is updated regularly. The times listed below follow the Finnish time zone (UTC+2 / UTC+3 during daylight saving time). We recommend that scheduled tasks are not arranged during these time windows. Integrations are paused approximately 15 minutes before the start of the release window.
- Minor changes, fixes and routine maintenance tasks are generally performed on Tuesdays between 19:15 and 19:45. Updates are announced 24 hours in advance.
- Major feature releases and longer maintenance tasks are primarily carried out on Saturdays, but when necessary also on Sundays, between 03:00 and 05:30. Such updates are announced 2 weeks prior to release. Major feature releases typically occur 1-3 times per quarter.
- Separate security updates are performed between 22:00 and 24:00. These may take place on any day of the week. If a security update or any other update is deemed critical, it may be carried out at a time chosen by the service provider without prior notice.
